About

Every piece starts on paper, drawn for one person and one spot on the body.

Single needle, thin lines, a lot of patience. I collect the things I love, old ornaments, small animals, stars, a word in script, and turn them into tattoos that age quietly with you.

I work from Atelier de Boer, my private studio in De Pijp, together with resident artists Nina and Levi.

Some of my favourite days are the ones where a whole group walks in for the same small drawing. Friends, siblings, the occasional dad. Same line, different arms.
